Service Description

Step away from the noise of everyday life and give yourself permission to simply create. Create & Connect is a relaxed and welcoming art journaling experience designed to help you slow down, explore your creativity, and enjoy the process of making art without worrying about rules, techniques, or creating a masterpiece. Each session begins with a brief guided meditation, reflection, or creative prompt to help you settle in and connect with the present moment. From there, you'll be invited to explore color, paint, mark-making, and intuitive creativity in your art journal. Prompts and inspiration will be available, but you're always free to follow your own creative path. This is not a traditional art class where everyone creates the same piece. Instead, it's a space to experiment, play, and discover what wants to emerge on the page. There is no right or wrong way to participate, and no artistic experience is necessary. Please bring a watercolor or mixed-media art journal, as we will be working with acrylic paints and other art materials. Art journals will also be available for purchase at Divine North. Basic painting supplies will be provided, including acrylic paints and shared creative tools. Participants are welcome to bring additional art materials they enjoy working with. As the gathering grows, a variety of art supplies and mixed-media tools will be available to encourage exploration, experimentation, and creative play. Whether you're looking for a creative outlet, a mindful pause in your week, or simply an opportunity to spend time making art with others, you'll find a welcoming space here. Come as you are, create without judgment, and leave feeling inspired, refreshed, and connected.
